The beginning of my 2015 wedding season could not have gotten off to a better start! Bailey and Ben’s wedding was one of the sweetest wedding days I have ever had the pleasure of photographing!
I first met Bailey when she was a bridesmaid in Christie’s wedding, another Blue Trillium bride. Christie and her girls were lots of fun and we shared so many laughs throughout the day. I met with Bailey and her mom shortly after she got engaged and I was so excited that I would get to photograph another wedding day with Bailey and her great group of friends.
When you meet Bailey and Ben, it is hard to deny the existence of ‘soul mates”. There are some people were simply created for each other. Their hearts and lives are knit together so closely, that one cannot doubt that it could only have been done by the hand of God. Bailey and Ben share a love of faith and family, as well as the most striking blue eyes one could imagine. They were sweethearts in Mrs. Bowling’s Kindergarten class and somehow ended up together at the end of an aisle saying their vows on a beautiful spring day. Some say luck, but I say it was meant to be!
The decorations were all shades of lavender and mint and spoke to Bailey’s craftiness and style. Ladders of varying heights were draped with fabric and paper flowers and added a wonderful backdrop to the simple location. They also added personal touches to the tables with Scrabble letter spelling out their wedding hashtag and other romantic words. They left the reception in a very special getaway car to cheers, sparklers, and bubbles from family and friends. Best wishes to Bailey and Ben and their future!
Love these! Their chalkboard wall is SO fun and their decorations looked gorgeous! Great job photographing the day!
Thanks Jen!
